Here are some links of sources I get a lot of Welness information and Nutritional Information from. There are newsletters and books that are helpful for a better understanding of the realities, vs the myths of good nutrition. Some of the myths will undoubtedly surprise you. When I share some of this info with others, I often get very surprised, confused and amazed looks by what people understood as being facts that are not. Some are myths, others just marketing over the years that have been accept facts.

The Wellness Forum
This is run by Dr. Pam Popper, her PhD is in nutrition. She is very much a whole food advocate and herself practices veganism. She usually recommends her clients follow a vegan diet until they resolve their health issues. She is also involved in an organization to prevent and assist, or at least inform in regards legislation that affects our health. She advises of the dangers of medical tests procedures and drugs. Many of which your medical doctor may not be aware of. If you can ever see her in person. I’ll advise my list here as I learn of her speaking engagements, I highly recommend seeing her in person where you’ll also have the opportunity to buy her educational materials. This is a book and also a website by Dr. Mitra Ray.
Mitra is great at presenting complex nutritional explanation in a simple way. She;s funny but hit home with important points and examples we can all understand.

Jack is one of my heroes. As a past trainer for both Olympic and NFL athletes he learned a number of years ago the important part of nutrition in any fitness training program. Jack carefully analysis ALL the nutritional products out there and advises the validity of them. He focuses on research; who has valid (if any) research and who doesn’t.
