Websites and Fonts

One of the problems that there has always been with websites is the ability to use more than just generic fonts. Though the ability has been there for a whle to do more than just generic, the problem was if the site visitor did not have that font on thier computer, a default generic font would show instead, taking away all the beauty of the font that may have been used in the design. Plus the fact that the planned formatting was also off because of this font replacement issue.

But now it’s WebFonts for WordPress to the rescue. One of the many great things about WordPress is that there are tons of plugins out there to support all kinds of tweaks and functionality to the initial install and setup.  As mentioned in the beginning of this paragraph, this plugin WebFonts adds lots of really nice font possibilities to the look of your site without what sometimes happens is it loosing some search engine friendliness. Bad idea. The plugin keeps that intact.

So if you want to spruce up your website with the specialized fonts available that way, not to mention some other things I’ve mentioned of how WordPress will improve your site. Contact me here to get help on making this happen for you and your web presence.
